i have also been doing alot of drawing and been posting some more recent things on my flickr. i need to create some more prints, buttons, mirrors and the such.

the season is changing and that means time for spooky things and dia de los muertos! some of you know that i have a little side project called my littlebigDead featuring my illustrations as skeletons and such.

hello friends…

this summer has been great and challenging at the same time. not just because of the heat but having my four and half year old daughter home for her first summer vacation. we’ve done little crafts here and there and i thought i would just share them all with you!

last month we made owl masks and i must say, i am rather impressed with them. they were quick and fun to do and she had a blast!

last week, nat and i made what i called a little box of happiness. i used an old cell phone box, cut some paper, made a few holes and used a lot of glue and tape. natalie colored the clouds and cut the grass and here the result of our little crafty labor:

i’ve been chronicling our every day life at my livejournal, owlacrobat or what i have titled as ‘the curious musings of an ordinary life‘. also, as most of you might gather, i love being in new places so i have decided to just use plurk as an avenue to share various links and use brightkite instead for all my microblogging and random cell phone pictures i take. i am still on twitter, because, well, you just gotta love twitter but more entries (and pictures!) will be on brightkite. oh, and i have added two tumblrs to my list of places to be. finding moths in my pockets is like a little online scrapbook for me, also featuring photos and artwork of mine and other photos i find from other sources that are intriguing and lovely. i also happened to pick up a little miniature horse whom i have named aesop and am beginning to record his ‘travels’ at his own place as well. feel free to peruse in all my little nooks in internetland!

ah, i love friday the 13th! and here i am, posting about finally updating the shop! yay

i have a couple of new button sets (that include both round and square buttons), with new prints and new original drawings.

and….since i am here, i am finally going to do something about fixing the posts here (or at least some of them! i know, i’m so lazy…)

so, being that it is a friday 13th, tell me how you are spending (and if you went to go see the happening, don’t tell me the plot, i still want to see it!)

i have finally put up the prints from a couple months ago on. you may have noticed most of my images state that they are currently unavailable. i went through a slight fit after finding someone had taken my images without credit and used them like if they were there own. i finally came to reason and put all the images back on public on my flickr but now it seems like i have to reinstate all the links again so i should be doing that soon. thanks again for continuing to stop by and see what the world of littlebighead is up to. i have been drawing again so i should be adding more prints to the shop shortly. thanks again!

hello everyone, i know i haven’t updated for awhile. i’m been going through a spring cleaning of sorts. meaning physically cleaning of course, but one of the mind as well. besides joining up with my friend hollie for wanderpost, i have also created and started a new social network called seedlings (green is beautiful). my energies of late have been on working on that site. i need to add my new prints to the shop and start drawing again, i realize. i have some ideas but all i have done the past couple of weeks have been sketches, so time to get on the ball! oh, also, i have joined up with etsy for animals and have a few ideas for items to donate to the store for purchase. more on that when the time comes!

okay, so i fibbed a little. i did do a drawing, but it was for my daughter’s new little green ‘eco’ bag i did for her. i had a lot of fun doing it and would love to do some more environmental conscience items.
