shop update

•May 5, 2008 • 3 Comments

i have finally put up the prints from a couple months ago on. you may have noticed most of my images state that they are currently unavailable. i went through a slight fit after finding someone had taken my images without credit and used them like if they were there own. i finally came to reason and put all the images back on public on my flickr but now it seems like i have to reinstate all the links again so i should be doing that soon. thanks again for continuing to stop by and see what the world of littlebighead is up to. i have been drawing again so i should be adding more prints to the shop shortly. thanks again!

p.s. i forgot to mention that i am now a proud member of the Eco Etsy Street Team! i barely made the cut off so let’s see what i can do πŸ™‚

p.p.s. i have a few widgets to share. click and see if you feel inclined to do so πŸ™‚

it’s been awhile…

hello everyone, i know i haven’t updated for awhile. i’m been going through a spring cleaning of sorts. meaning physically cleaning of course, but one of the mind as well. besides joining up with my friend hollie for wanderpost, i have also created and started a new social network called seedlings (green is beautiful). my energies of late have been on working on that site. i need to add my new prints to the shop and start drawing again, i realize. i have some ideas but all i have done the past couple of weeks have been sketches, so time to get on the ball! oh, also, i have joined up with etsy for animals and have a few ideas for items to donate to the store for purchase. more on that when the time comes!

okay, so i fibbed a little. i did do a drawing, but it was for my daughter’s new little green ‘eco’ bag i did for her. i had a lot of fun doing it and would love to do some more environmental conscience items.

well, that’s it for now. i guess i have been a bit busy but that’s life, right! if you would like, you can alsoΒ  stop by seedlings and join us!!)

collage girl

my first collage girl (i used the large flickr image so you can see but it’s a bit bigger than what this entry allows. click on the photo to see the entire illustration). illustrated and composed on natural white drawing paper with an old book page, tissue paper, stock paper and bits of a brown paper bag (some paper also colored with prisma markers).

munano + littlebighead…

a few posts ago, i mentioned a collaboration between myself and munano. well, ‘our’ little pirate owl made it across the sea and is finally home with me!

here he is, my pirate owl along with a few neat buttons too!

my little pirate owl, courtesy of munano!

here is a little close up next to a photo of my illustration. we finally named the owl in the original illustration. actually, my husband named him. he is black-eyed bart. he is actually captain of his ship, the field mouse. he has a handful of crew members who i have also drawn out but have not made their debut yet. i am hoping to bring a little story background to the crew. so until then, thank you deborah daniel (munano), for my little pirate!!
